Brittany Mahomes' Secret To Her Stunning Figure

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes is a star football player who everyone knows is incredibly fit, but fewer people realize that his wife, Brittany Mahomes, has an equally long history with sports and fitness. "I am a former college soccer player who went on to play professionally in Iceland," Brittany writes on her website's About page. "By the end of my first season, I truly began to fall in love with being in the gym more than being on the soccer field." This love for fitness continues today, with her website, Brittany Lynne Fitness, providing training programs folks can do at home.

What's even sweeter is that Brittany and Patrick are high-school sweethearts, so they've witnessed each other's sports and fitness evolution over the years. According to a 2021 interview with Men's Health, this is something Brittany actively thinks about, especially regarding the couple's future together. "Yeah, we've talked about a lot of brands and things and stuff that we want to do in the fitness industry together eventually, and especially after the day when he's done with football," Brittany told the outlet. This statement came just two months after Patrick became a co-owner of the women's soccer team the Kansas City Current, of which Brittany was already a co-owner (via KMBC News).

But just what's responsible for Brittany's stunning figure outside of her general love for fitness? Luckily for us, the fitness guru often shows off her workouts on her social media pages, and she's opened up about her favorite foods, too.

Brittany Mahomes shows off intense workouts online

Brittany Mahomes is a certified personal trainer and has "experience with all levels of fitness and have carried that experience with me to create exercise programs for people at all stages on their fitness journey," according to her website's About page. And she practices what she preaches: In a February 2023 Instagram reel, the former soccer player showed off her leg day routine, which included weighted lunges, squats, and barbell hip thrusts, among other moves. None of these techniques look particularly easy, but she makes them look like a breeze.

Her followers, of which she has more than 1.5 million, agree, and they appreciate her videos for motivating them to work on their own figures. "So I just did the side lunge to the step back, and wow did that add some oomph to my workout! Thank you!" one commented. In addition to her followers, Brittany motivates her husband to work out more. "She wrote the workouts for me [during COVID-19 quarantine], so I mean she continued to push me to be better," Patrick Mahomes told Men's Health in 2021. "It makes me feel like a lazy bum whenever I'm not working out and she's working out. So she holds me accountable in that way." Ultimately, Brittany makes it clear that her mission is to make not only herself but also those around her feel good in their skin.

Brittany Mahomes' pregnancy and postpartum workouts

Brittany Mahomes' workout routines extended throughout her pregnancies and postpartum periods, too. In March 2021, just a couple of weeks after giving birth to her first child, Brittany posted Instagram stories that depict her working out with baby Sterling Skye secured to her chest. Of course, the story had to have a sweet message, with the Kansas City Current co-owner captioning it, "The most amazing journey, to bring the biggest blessing into our life" (via Life & Style). Later that month, Brittany offered further insight into her postpartum workout routine via more posts to her Instagram story. These clips were captioned "#ROADTOGETMYBODBACK" and saw Brittany completing seated rows and reverse leg raises.

Then, in a September 2022 reel, Brittany is seen completing a series of weight-lifting exercises while pregnant with her second child, with the caption noting that pregnant workouts are "very necessary but very hard." Here, she also reminds her followers that they don't have to be at the gym to exercise — that they can sneak in a workout at home or even while out and about. Regardless of the workout, though, she adds, "BUT Whatever you are doing, pregnant or not, mama or not, YOU ARE AMAZING!"

It's clear that Brittany Mahomes takes amazing care of her body, resulting in her stunning figure. But this isn't only accomplished through her workout routines — her diet plays a role, too. Speaking to EatingWell in December 2023, Brittany discussed that she and Patrick Mahomes' entire family is cautious about food due to their two children having food allergies, with their son having "a severe peanut allergy." While they avoid peanuts, Brittany revealed to the outlet that they keep a variety of foods in the Chiefs' VIP suite, including fresh fruit and veggies for healthier snacking and "sweet treats" because, let's face it, everyone deserves one every now and then. Plus, the Mahomes always have protein shakes on hand, but there's no surprise there.

As for her favorite nighttime meal to cook at home, Brittany told the outlet, "My go-to is always a taco night! It's so easy to throw together and to get the whole family involved in the cooking process," adding that her children and Patrick all "love it." Outside of taco night, foods that Brittany has posted on her Instagram stories include chicken and broccoli bowls, Caesar salads, fish with delicious-looking charred vegetables, and more. While many of these meals lean healthy, chocolates and donuts have also appeared on the personal trainer's story, though much less frequently.
